Dr. Seth E. Katz
Reproductive Endocrinologist & Medical Director
Dr. Seth E. Katz joined Reproductive Endocrinology Associates of Charlotte (REACH) in 2008, bringing with him a strong foundation in psychology, medicine, and compassionate patient care. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Political Science from Duke University in Durham, NC, before completing his medical degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, NC.
Following medical school, Dr. Katz completed his internship and residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University of Arizona Health Science Center Affiliated Hospitals in Tucson, AZ. He then pursued a highly respected fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of California–San Diego in La Jolla, CA. His extensive training and dedication to the field ultimately led him to his current role as Medical Director at Reach Fertility, where he oversees clinical standards, patient experience, and the continued advancement of fertility treatment offerings.
Raised in Wilmington, North Carolina, Dr. Katz has always had a deep love for the beach and coastal living—a passion that continues to influence his appreciation for relaxation, nature, and family time. Outside of his work, he is an enthusiastic car lover with a special admiration for both classic automobiles and cutting-edge automotive technology.
Dr. Katz also considers himself a bourbon connoisseur. He enjoys exploring the art and history behind distilleries and often unwinds by enjoying a thoughtfully crafted cocktail at the end of the day. His diverse interests and warm personality help him build meaningful connections with his patients as he guides them through their fertility journeys with expertise and empathy.
